Eaten. Drunk. Biked. Hiked. Walked.
I like to think energy going in and energy going out is a good way to judge a successful vacation - and by that test this one has been amazing. Especially today.
Jean and I hooked up with Ed (guide) for a mountain biking tour of the villages around Antigua. We went through coffee plantations, down cobblestone streets, up dirt roads. We stopped in beautiful town squares and had breakfast on a macadamia nut plantation (macadamia nut pancakes with macadamia nut butter). Yum!
It was a high energy day.
Here are my Five Favorite Fotos from today...
Nature...

We had stopped in this town at a roadside OJ stand and saw a boy bringing his nature (goats) right on down to the town square. Just out for a walk?
Beauty...

There are orchids all over the courtyard at our hotel.
Fun...

Mountain bike and a dirt road. Spells F-U-N.
Spirit...

We have seen hundreds of dogs on this trip. This was just the second cat. He seemed to be meditating or doing a yoga pose to me.
Just liked it...

Jean and Ed enjoying their choco-covered ice cream cones. We had a big hill coming up and needed the energy.

Whoops! I scanned back through previous posts and you are in a different Antigua than we will be in. Ah well. Yours looks fabulous, hope ours is, too!
