Jean has warned me. Numerous times. Get a case for your phone. Apparently that was good advice. As I was dashing out the front gate to run to a yoga class and out onto our hilly, cobblestoned street I dropped my phone and the screen shattered (see pic below). That was the start of my day.
If you know me at all, you know I love this phone for its 41 megapixel camera - allowing me to take great pics anytime and anywhere. I have even stopped taking my Canon DSLR on many trips because this phone takes such great snaps.
It was clear that I was facing the likelihood of losing this companion so early in my trip and without any really way to replace it until I return to Washington. But, since I was on my way to yoga, I chose to look at it as an experience - adding even more texture to my trip. Yeah - that'll work.
