Today was our last full day in Athens before heading to the islands - so we wanted to see and do as much as possible. Unfortunately, there were passing thunderstorms and torrential showers throughout the day - so getting around was a challenge. The pic above is of us huddled in a newspaper kiosk waiting to make a run for the National Archeological Museum. We eventually made it but had a great time while we waited.
And here are my Five Favorite Fotos from day 3 of our trip to Greece...
Nature...
We started out with an early morning hike up the Hill of Muses. Love the landscapes.
Beauty...
Then National Archeological Museum had a temporary exhibit - The Countless Aspects of Beauty - that was breathtaking.
Fun...
Just waiting on someone's front stoop while the rains flooded the streets.
Spirit...
The Acropolis from the Hill of Muses in the early morning. The center of and core of Athens.
Just liked it...
Carmen after dark in a 2000 year old theater.
